Yamunotri Itinerary
Start: Early Morning from Haridwar. Drive via Dehradun – Mussoorie – Barkot towards Yamunotri route.
Begin the road journey to Barkot (approx. 8-9 hours drive, 140 km).
Check-in at hotel or guesthouse in Barkot for rest and acclimatization.
Drive from Barkot to Janki Chatti (approx. 40 km, 1.5–2 hours).
Start the trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri Temple(approx. 7 km) through beautiful forest trails.
Reach Yamunotri in the afternoon, visit the temple and take holy dips in hot springs like Surya Kund and Divya Shila.
- Return the same 6 km to Janki Chatti, then drive back to Barkot for night's stay.
After Breakfast, drive back to Haridwar(8-9 hours).
Departure to onward destinations or return to your home city with memories.
