How to Reach

  • Airport: Jolly Grant, Dehradun
  • Railway: Haridwar / Rishikesh
  • Trek: 5–6 km from Janki Chatti

Darshan Timings

  • Morning: 6:00 AM onwards
  • Evening Aarti: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Yamunotri Itinerary

  • Start: Early Morning from Haridwar. Drive via Dehradun – Mussoorie – Barkot towards Yamunotri route.

  • Begin the road journey to Barkot (approx. 8-9 hours drive, 140 km).

  • Check-in at hotel or guesthouse in Barkot for rest and acclimatization.

  • Drive from Barkot to Janki Chatti (approx. 40 km, 1.5–2 hours).

  • Start the trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri Temple(approx. 7 km) through beautiful forest trails.

  • Reach Yamunotri in the afternoon, visit the temple and take holy dips in hot springs like Surya Kund and Divya Shila.

  • Return the same 6 km to Janki Chatti, then drive back to Barkot for night's stay.
  • After Breakfast, drive back to Haridwar(8-9 hours).

  • Departure to onward destinations or return to your home city with memories.
