Valley of Flowers Trek Itinerary

Day 1 Haridwar to Govindghat (6,000 ft) Drive Day
• Drive 290–295 km in 10–11 hours via Devprayag Sangam and Dhari Devi temple.
• Check into hotel at Govindghat (1,800 m / 6,000 ft) and rest.
Day 2 Govindghat to Pulna to Ghangaria (10,170 ft) 5–6 hrs
• Shuttle 5 km (4–5 km per sources) to Pulna (6,900 ft) in 15–20 minutes, then trek 9 km to Ghangaria (3,050–3,100 m / 10,000–10,170 ft) in 4–6 hours.
• Overnight in the guesthouse at Ghangaria base camp.
Day 3 Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers (11,800–12,500 ft) and Back 8–10 km | 6-8 hrs
• Trek 7–8 km round trip (3.5–4 km each way) in 6–8 hours to explore the UNESCO site with alpine flowers and wildlife like musk deer and Himalayan monal.
• Altitude peaks at 3,500–3,600 m (11,500–11,800 ft); return to Ghangaria (10,170 ft) for overnight.
Day 4 Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib (15,200 ft) and Back 12 km | 7-9 hrs
• Trek 12 km round trip (6 km each way) in 7–9 hours on a steep, paved path to the high-altitude Sikh gurudwara by a glacial lake.
• Altitude gain to 4,300–4,632 m (14,100–15,200 ft); descend to Ghangaria (10,170 ft) for overnight.
Day 5 Ghangaria to Pulna to Govindghat (6,000 ft) 14 km | 4–5 hrs
• Trek 9 km downhill to Pulna (6,900 ft) in 4–5 hours, then 5 km shuttle to Govindghat (6,000 ft).
• Overnight stay at hotel in Govindghat.
Day 6 Govindghat to Haridwar Drive Day
• Drive 290–295 km in 10–11 hours via Rishikesh for Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and Ganga temple sightseeing.
• Drop-off at Haridwar railway station (1,200 ft).
